Java Street House is a 1910 walk-up at 93 Java St, four stories tall and just two blocks from the Greenpoint waterfront. Eight homes fill the building, and residents have a live-in superintendent, a virtual doorman intercom, smart package lockers, private storage cages and a laundry room on site. The interiors have been fully renovated with a modern finish: wide-plank white oak floors, quartz counters, stainless appliances, glass-enclosed showers and recessed lighting. The mix includes three Studio homes, three One Bedroom homes and two Two Bedroom homes, ranging from 400 to 780 square feet. Gas ranges and ceiling fans are standard, the one- and two-bedrooms add dishwashers, and cats and dogs are welcome. Java Street runs toward the East River at the north end of Greenpoint, where waterfront parks meet blocks of frame and brick rowhouses. WNYC Transmitter Park is a 7-minute walk, Radio Bakery is 3 minutes, and Manhattan Avenue's Polish bakeries and wine bars are close by. The G train at Greenpoint Av is a 3-minute walk, Nassau Av is about 12, and the NYC Ferry at India St reaches Manhattan by water.
