Bliss Street Court is a 1927 walk-up at 43-31 46th St in Sunnyside, Queens. Its four stories hold eight apartments, one one-bedroom and one two-bedroom on each floor. The building covers the practical side well, with a shared laundry room, a bike storage room, private storage cages, smart package lockers and a virtual doorman intercom. Cats and dogs are welcome. Every home is a prewar classic, with original hardwood floors, exposed brick, tall windows and a subway-tile bath, and every kitchen has a gas range and dishwasher. The east-facing one-bedrooms run 520 to 620 square feet, while the west-facing two-bedrooms run 770 to 855. Ceiling fans are standard, and a few homes have a decorative fireplace mantel. Sunnyside is known for the landmarked courtyards of Sunnyside Gardens and for the restaurants along Skillman Avenue and Queens Boulevard, from Irish pubs to Colombian bakeries. Chakra Cafe is a 1-minute walk, The Lowery Bar & Kitchen is 2 minutes, and 1 Buen Sabor Bakery and Parrot Coffee Market Place 1 are each 3 minutes away. The 7 train stops at 46 St-Bliss St and 40 St-Lowery St, both 4-minute walks, with 52 St close by, and Grand Central is about fifteen minutes away by train.
