About the property
Court Square Lofts is three connected buildings, East, Southeast and West, wrapped around a landscaped courtyard at 25-01 Jackson Ave in Long Island City.
Completed in 2019, the five-story complex holds 138 homes and runs like a full-service tower: a 24-hour doorman, a resident app and concierge, an indoor saltwater pool, a fitness center with a separate yoga and spin studio, coworking suites, a screening room and a furnished rooftop terrace with grilling stations. From the upper floors, the Manhattan skyline does the rest. Inside, homes range from 550-square-foot studios to 1,700-square-foot three-bedrooms, with one- and two-bedroom plans in between. Every layout gets floor-to-ceiling windows with motorized shades, Italian cabinetry, quartz countertops, integrated stainless steel appliances and marble baths, plus a washer and dryer in the unit and central air. The larger plans add walk-in closets, deep soaking tubs and private outdoor space. Cats and dogs are welcome, and there is a pet spa on site for muddy paws. The neighborhood moves fast in the best way. Court Sq is a 4-minute walk for the 7, E, M and G trains, the 7 also stops at Vernon Blvd-Jackson Av, and the LIRR runs from Hunterspoint Av. Trader Joe's and Court Square Diner are each 3 minutes away, Partners Coffee is a 9-minute walk, and Gantry Plaza State Park and MoMA PS1 are close by. Hunters Point side streets still mix older walk-ups with new towers, which keeps the area feeling like a neighborhood and not just a skyline.

Good value for what you get in LIC. The bike storage room and EV charging were both on my list and both work well. The courtyard is a nice place to read on a weekend morning. Only knock is that packages pile up around the holidays.

Leasing was straightforward and the team answered every question I sent without making me chase them. Our three-bedroom has room for an office, which was the whole point. The screening room is a fun spot to host friends for a movie night.

Top-floor studio in the East Building. It's 550 square feet but the windows make it feel bigger, and I can see the Manhattan skyline from my desk. Wish the studio had a walk-in closet like the bigger plans, but the private storage cages downstairs help a lot.

My dog loves the pet spa more than I do, and I love it a lot. Being 3 minutes from Trader Joe's is dangerous for my budget. The coworking suites are a real perk on days I don't want to work from my kitchen table.

The apartment itself is great: in-unit laundry, central air, good kitchen. My complaint is the rooftop terrace, which fills up fast on summer weekends. Staff have been responsive when I raised it, so I'm hoping it improves.

We have a two-bedroom with outdoor space facing the courtyard and it has changed how we spend summer evenings. Having two full baths means no negotiating in the morning. The rooftop grills are first-come, first-served but there are enough of them that we rarely wait.

Really solid building. The saltwater pool is the reason I signed, and it has not disappointed. The gym gets busy around 7 pm on weekdays, so I shifted to mornings. Maintenance requests through the app usually get answered the same day.

Moved into a one-bedroom in the West Building last spring and the light is the first thing everyone mentions. The motorized shades sound like a gimmick until you use them every morning. The doormen know my name and my packages end up in the cold-storage room when I order groceries. Court Sq is a short walk, which made my commute painless.
