Small, well-run building with a friendly super. My one-bedroom is compact but smartly laid out. Being a few minutes from the ferry at N 6th is a bonus for weekend trips.

My dog and I walk to McCarren every morning. The renovated kitchen with a gas range and dishwasher is a huge upgrade from my last place. Really happy with The Eighth.

We have a two-bedroom on the second floor with great afternoon light. Storage cage fits our bikes and suitcases. The package lockers work well and the leasing team was clear about everything.

Apartment is nice, but ask how laundry works for your unit. Mine relies on a laundromat nearby. North 8th can be busy on weekends. Management has been easy to deal with.

Couldn't ask for a better location. Levain, Juliette and the L are all within a few minutes. The white oak floors and quartz counters make the place feel brand new.

Five flights is a workout, no way around it. But the top-floor sunsets and the roof right upstairs are worth it. Finishes are clean and modern, and the super responds fast.

The office nook in my Flex apartment is the reason I signed. I work from home three days a week and having a defined desk spot makes a huge difference. Plus the roof is great for a break.
