About the property
Woodbine Flats is a three-story walk-up at 60-71 Woodbine St in Ridgewood, Queens, built in 1913 and home to just 6 apartments. There is no elevator or doorman here. The building keeps things simple and well run, with a live-in superintendent, a laundry room on site and smart package lockers for deliveries.
Cats and dogs are welcome. Inside, the homes were renovated in a bright modern finish: wide-plank white oak floors, quartz counters, stainless appliances with gas ranges, recessed lighting and baths with glass-enclosed showers. The mix is small but varied. There are two studios, two One Bedroom Flex homes with a home office nook, and two two-bedrooms with dishwashers and ceiling fans, ranging from 380 to 850 square feet. Ridgewood's landmarked yellow-brick rowhouses and Fresh Pond Road shops surround the building, and Myrtle Avenue mixes new wine bars with decades-old German delis. Gottscheer Hall is a 4-minute walk, Grimaldi Bakery and Rosemary's Playground are 5, and Valentino Food Market is 9. The M at Forest Av is a 5-minute walk, Seneca Av is about 10, and the L meets the M at Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs.

Clean, modern apartment in an older building, which is what I wanted. Stairs are only two flights. The L at Myrtle-Wyckoff gives me a second option when the M is slow.

Top-floor two-bedroom with morning sun in both bedrooms. The white oak floors look great and the shower is a real upgrade from my last place. Ridgewood has been a wonderful neighborhood to land in.

Studio is nice but small, which I knew going in. Package lockers were offline for a few days over the winter, which was annoying. Once fixed, everything has worked fine and the finishes are good.

Small building and well kept. Five minutes to the M, and Grimaldi Bakery is on my way. My cat settled in right away. Leasing answered every question I had without any runaround.

Solid two-bedroom with lots of room. Laundry in the building saves a lot of hassle. The super lives in the building and has been around whenever something came up. Only wish the kitchen had a little more counter space.

I work from home three days a week and the office nook in the flex apartment is exactly what I needed. Desk in its own corner, bedroom stays a bedroom. The renovation feels fresh and the quartz counters are easy to keep clean.
